New Band of the Month: November

The new band this month, Birmingham's Dumb, is a sad one, because only today have they announced their split, which is horrible news, as this band promised so much and the few releases they had were aggressive indie pop tunes, in the vein of an grittier Peace or Superfood.

Their core releases include the singles 'Dive', 'Retina', and 'Two Bottles//Super Sonic Love Toy', which were all compiled into debut EP, 'Chew Me Up, Spit Me Out', along with new track 'Still I'm Stuck'. Everyone should go out and buy that EP now on whatever media possible because it is truly a statement from one of the most promising bands of the past year, which is even more upsetting knowing of their split.

So commiserations Dumb, but at least you brought us great songs, and all the luck in the future.
