New Band of the Month: August

Wolf Alice are my new band of the month. An exciting blend of brazen guitar riffs, soaring vocals and a tight rhythm section.  I've seen them live three times, and they are quickly becoming one of the best and tightest live acts in the country. Their music fuses slower folk inspired songs with an killer alternative grunge guitar sound. They have released several singles and two EP's. This year's 'Creature Songs' EP featured a mix of heavy songs and slower beautiful moments showing singer/guitarist Ellie Roswell's strong songwriting abilities.
